Potential film posters

Below are a selection of film poster designs that have been designed using Adobe Photoshop. I wanted to keep the backgrounds simple and spacious leaving the title and the main character standing out making them the focal point. Two of the designs consist of an off white back ground and the rest have a sharp yellow back ground to create an eye catching effect where the black and white image contrasts against. I have left the design mock ups basic as I have left them with out the text that I need to include such as actors names, producers and directors.

I have inserted an iconic London skyline here to show the setting but have kept it black and simple, the main Character has been made to look large and significant and shadows over the city with an added outer shadow effect. I've used a blood red title rather than black to separate it from the rest of the monochrome coloured images.

this image has a more detailed London skyline in the background on top of a sharp yellow background, I feel this creates a nice juxtaposition. The title is black so it matches the background colour.

This is a more simplistic design with an off white background, I like this because you really get to focus on the image of the main character and the way he's dressed and the gun he's holding.

This is the same design but with a yellow background.

This design consists of a different image. it contains two of the characters. the main Character Michael sits on the floor in a relaxed position while another gang member stands next to him. I got them to look into the camera to engage with the audience. I've used a different font here and have added the films slogan, Money, Power, Respect. I've also put in some more text which will be included in the final design
