film title

In some point in the film trailer I need to display the film title, preferably at the end. These are two designs that I've made using Photoshop, I have used the font that I am planning to use throughout my film promotion, in  poster and magazine front cover. I choose the font because its bold, modern and has an urban theme with a skyline as part of the font. I decided to place the London skyline into the font as the key subject of the film is the city of London and its estates where the film will be set. The image was put into the font using the clipping mask tool. I have placed the same setting in the font at different times of day, one was taken at mid day and the other shot was taken in the evening. The evening shot has a completely different colour scheme which generates a completely different mood. This title creates a more energetic and vibrant feel that would maybe be seen in a film that focuses on a more upper class group of people. I feel it is not a great representation of the type of people the film focuses on and the genres included this is because it is to vibrant and colourful.

The film title using the day time shot is more plain in colour creating a monochrome colour scheme of the skyline rather than the vibrant lit up city in the other title. I feel that this suits the mood of the film a lot more., its more raw and cold. I have made sure that the film titles stand out with the black background I've also made sure that they are visually pleasing.
